The Privacy Add-on at: https://f200822.firefox-protect.app/ looks suspicious to me. Is it bogus?

Neither https://f200822.firefox-protect .app/ or getprivacyapp .com has any relation with the company Mozilla.

I would be careful in installing things from sites that just popped up out of nowhere since there has been a long list of sites that pretending to have a Firefox update in which the fake extensions were actually malware.

Another reason to not install extensions from some random site that popped up is having words like Privacy in name can raise red flags as for example a recent block of Search hijacking add-ons had many of them with privacy in name listed in bug report.

If you want a safe place to install Extensions for Firefox then go to https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/

If it was from an ad or popup, I would not trust it. If you want privacy protection, there are many reputable options.
