FF 61.0.1, 64 bit, Linux Mint

Hello,

Is it possible to tell FF to download a couple of files, working the download queue one after another, rather than trying 2 or 3 downloads at once?

I sometimes download maybe 8 or 10 or 12 large files (2..4 GB each) from dropbox. They take about 20 minutes to an hour each. When one download is running, and then I tell FF another file to download, FF will try to run both downloads simultaneously, and probably one or even both will fail. So I have to check my computer every 30 minutes or so, to see if the latest download has finished so I can start the next one.

Can I give FF a "download queue" and let it work all downloads one after the other, only one at a time?

thank you

Hans

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.

I use one that lets me limit the number of download at the same time.
