Respect second/additional display ICC profiles

more options

I really want to stick with FF as I have used it for years, but there are currently two big issues with it that don't appear to be a problem in Chrome.

1) I have two displays, these are both calibrated and have separate ICC profiles. When I launch FF it respects my display profile for display 1, but when I drag it over to my second display the profile does not switch to the correct one. Chrome does this automatically and you can see it happen.

2) The built in Colour management is great for still images but fails when playing back video content. It appears that the ICC profile is not being respected when viewing Vimeo or Youtube. Again, Chrome does not have this issue.

Are there currently any workarounds?

Does it make a difference whether hardware acceleration in Firefox is enabled or disabled?

I don't think that is a FF since ICC isn't part of FF itself. It most likely the limits of the Browser or the Video driver that could also be as well doing this.

No, I'm afraid not.

I asked because Firefox can have a problem with a multiple monitor setup, especially when the displays differ in resolution.

I must retract my previous statement! I just restarted my machine with 'hardware acceleration' disabled in FF and now it appears to be displaying accurate colour during video playback. Thank you for the advice, is this a known issue?

Will this have any negative impact on FF's performance in general now?
