about:pioneer mentions "...we can give you content that enriches your life. Pioneer will help us understand and build those experiences...". What is an example of "... understand the health of the web, how users interact with it, and how people use their browsers..." technically, that will help you do all those things? Is it how users select a listbox item (keyboard arrows or mouse)? If users using tab? What exactly?

And remember... the best browsers serves well pros, experienced and normal users!

Chosen solution

Due to the fact that category 3 and 4 data is sensitive, there are no public reports on that sort of data.

If you're worried about it, don't join pioneer.

Pioneer collects sensitive data that is not part of the standard telemetry set.

The data you describe is more the type of data that we collect in regular telemetry, because it is not privacy sensitive, https://blog.nightly.mozilla.org/2018/06/27/protecting-your-privacy-in-firefox-pre-release/

Thanks for your response, but still I would like an example! Having read the links you gave us, I would say that I'd really want an example of "...Category 3 “web activity data”, and Category 4 “highly sensitive data”..."

Thanks for your time answering my question. Yes! I worry because I'm totally against private data collection (not only mine!) and I cannot find any reason behind the Do you agree to send us your private data? But we won't tell you what is that private data we're collecting. We just tell you what we won't collect and go figure if this is actually true. Anyway Thanks again

You can see all data that is collected by Telemetry (none of which is personal and all is basically anonymous). Type about:telemetry into your address bar and you can see everything.

Pioneer collects more data than just telemetry, which is why we ask people to join. If you don't want to join pioneer you don't have to, and you can still submit Telemetry to make the product better.

Remember, without the Telemetry data from your machine, we have no idea how Firefox behaves on your computer. So we can't make it better. We use telemetry to make Firefox better, now to sell ads to you like Google does

I was talking about categories 3 and 4 my friend as anyone can tell. I respect your contribution to firefox but still you are not answering. Anyway, it was informative little discussion!

Those categories are clearly defined in the blog post I linked above, Cat 3 is browsing history, and cat 4 is sensitive data. We only collect cat 3 if you are enrolled in pioneer, and have never collected cat 4
