How do I remove the message about thunderbird at the bottom of my emails?
Your message takes up most of my screen and is anoying

I will guess you mean the Thunderbird start page that shows in the Message Pane when you first start the program. Clicking on a message should replace that with the content of the message. Pressing F8 toggles the Message Pane on and off if you object to the idea of the Message Pane. Going to Options-General you can uncheck the box to show the Start Page altogether. Then the Message Pane will open with whatever you had selected when you closed Thunderbird the last time.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the program but did not like the start page taking up half the page.
So happy!
