Unable to take screenshoots while in reader view (F9) / "this isn't a standard webpage ... " - Any ideas?
These functions are both of parts of firefox, so how come they don't play nice with each other. Does this seem important to anyone else ?
Chosen solution
Taking a Screenshot; Windows > Start > search box > Snip. Select Snipping Tool. Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot. Save the picture(s) to your desktop. Press the Reply button. Then press the Photos button.

Reader view uses an about page (about:reader?url=xxx) internally and the Firefox screenshot extension doesn't work on such pages.
You can try the developer tools version to see if that works.
