"Tabs" setting on v. 60.0.1 does not work. How can I talk to (or chat with) someone whose job is to provide tech support to Firefox users?

I have FF set to open links in new tabs instead of opening a new window. Ever since the 59 update, it opens a new window whenever a link is clicked, so I end up with a string of open browsers that have to be closed down. I have tried contacting someone in the "community" without success. That would be fine, but Mozilla should provide tech support like other major software vendors, instead of relying on free labor to solve problems in MOZILLA'S software.

Hi, as to contacting the community there is no community. As for free labour You have found Firefox Volunteer Support.

SO with that out of the way please try this : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 60.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hi Greyracer, in your earlier question, you said the problem was that links opened in the SAME tab (https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1221117), but now you're saying they open in a NEW WINDOW. What changed? Actually, I think it's best to continue in the earlier thread and update that one.
