Chosen solution

Look for an extension which provides that feature.

Never been a feature in Firefox itself, unlike open a Search in a New Tab which has a hidden pref in about:config which can be toggled on.

Middle-click the bookmark to have it open in a New Tab; or use {Ctrl+Click}.

If it is e New Window you want, right-click the bookmark and select Open in a New Window - same works for a New Tab, too.

Yes, i know about the middle button but how to open bookmarks in a new tab just by clickin on them with a left click?

You can hold the Shift key and left-click the bookmark to open the bookmark (link) in a new window. This should always work to open a link in a new window.

Current Firefox releases come with a pref to open a bookmark in a new tab, so there is no need to do a special action.

Note that the OP want to open the bookmark in a new window and not in a tab.

I have the same problem and also I want to have Firefox open a new window when I click on a link on a webpage. Any suggestions?
