browser.cache.disk.capacity reverts to 225280 after RELOAD
I enabled a 1 GB ramdisk with the Dataram software, assigned NTFS drive letter P: , and changed browser.cache.disk.parent_directory to P:\firefox .
However, after changing browser.cache.disk.capacity to 1000000 Firefox 60.0.1 (64-bit version) reverts the value of that setting to 225280 immediately after a RELOAD button is clicked.
No matter how many times I MODIFY that setting using about:config the value reverts to 225280 .
Chosen solution
browser.cache.disk.smart_size.enabled should be FALSE

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.
