Is it possible? I have seen a very tetchy answer in the Stackowerflow db. Isn't there a easier way? If answer is no, is there any plan to make an easier solution?

I have the latest version Thunbird 52.7.0 installed on Windows 10.

Regards Christer

Chosen solution

Apple chose to hide the caldav endpoints, so every answer you will ever see involves some sort of hid and seek game to locate the actual endpoint you need to use.

Sure making it easier would be great. Please see what you can do to get apple to play ball and just tell their customers what the endpoint they need to use is. My feeling is you will not be successful, the folk at Cupertino love their walled garden with only apple products in it, actually giving their customers choice that they are not required to do is anathema to their corporate culture.
