Serverpress local website get connection not secure
I am trying to open my website that is local using DesktopServer and I get "Your connection is not secure" and "The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed". It was fine yesterday, but today it's not working. I know I had this problem with Google Chrome and Serverpress said to use Firefox since Chrome isn't supporting HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS). Why the sudden change.

There are a surprising number of top level domains now, well beyond country codes, com, net, org, biz and info, and more are being added over time. If you want to check what's been approved already: https://newgtlds.icann.org/en/program-status/delegated-strings

What kind of address does your local site have?
The reason I ask is: Google bought the .dev domain and requires that all sites using .dev host names have a valid certificate. Firefox is now enforcing that, too. So if you have been using a .dev host name, you might need to change it.
There is a workaround if you can't change the host name, but it has the side effect of reducing security, so I don't know whether it's the right trade-off for you. This thread has more information: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1208812
Thanks for the help. But I just wish not only Mozilla, Google and ServerPress would have let everyone know in advance so we could make the necessary changes. So because of Google restricting the .dev domain (GRRRRR), what can developers use for a domain. Very annoying this and a bit Big Brother.
