I'm getting a very thin border line at the top of all my tabs when focused/chosen (I hate it!, want to remove it), here's a screenshot of it (using Quantum).

I saw something else that sounded like the problem about 'Toolbar tabs' and set it to "0px". I wasn't sure what that meant.

Do you mean the blue band at the top of an active tab (there's also a dark gray band, the same height as the blue band, when you hover an inactive tab)?

That's called the tab line and as far as I know the only way to hide it is a custom style rule, which you apply to Firefox's user interface area by creating a file named userChrome.css. That's a 10-15 minute project, so unless you have some other changes in mind, I don't know if you would consider it worth your while...

Wow!!! A solution where you just do it and it Works! You're my new hero. Took me about 2.5 minutes.

I tried adding a screenshot, but it it never loaded, just kept cycling and I gave up. I got it to work now, here it is at the bottom for giggles and grins ;). Its color depends on theme (or no themes).

Thanks!

You wouldn't happen to have any tricks for adding an 'add-on toolbar'? I'm pretty happy with Quantum but some things gone/some add-ons useless now. I tried add-ons page (nada).

Currently, it's not possible for extensions to create new toolbars. At most, they can create buttons with drop-down panels. I don't know if or when that might be allowed, but I'd guess at least 3 months from now.

Hi. Right click any where in a blank spot at the top of the browser and then can turn back on the Menu Bar and the Toolbar.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Thanks Pkshadow.

I know about that, but "addon bar" allowed for positioning at bottom which I loved. I don't like to bunch up too many things in one area (top).
