I have completely switched from Google chrome to firefox on all my devices (~10 >> big change for me :)). Chrome bookmarks bar shows beautiful icons for each site which I can easily recognize just by looking at them. Firefox doesn't show them. Is there a way to get them in FF?

Is there a way this can be suggested for a future release? I'm looking for something like attached. Which provides following benefits.

  1. Saves space on bookmark bar (can fit lot of sites)
  2. Easy to identify the site just by looking at the icon image
  3. Improves overall appearance of the browser

Hi sandanuwan, When you visit the site, the icon in the toolbar will be replaced with the site icon (aka favicon). Then Firefox will store the icon and continue to use the site icon for that bookmark.
