Since FF58 when I click on any item main bar menu it crashes. Have reinstalled FF to no change. Having to use chrome to do anything at present. Nothing else has changed on my system, running Windows 7.

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

I cant enter anything into the address bar as as soon as I start firefox crashes, same as main menu bar. It is sending the crash data each time automatically to you.

What other A/V program is being used? And when you uninstalled all FF did you also delete the Mozilla folder before reinstalling?

Im running MAcaffe A?V. I did delete the folder but will try again and reinstall

If you can't get Firefox to open, you will have to do this the hard way.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mozillacrashreporter Open the file browser / explorer on your computer. Note: You may have to enable Show Hidden Folders / Files. Enter this in the address bar;

Windows: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win 7/Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win XP/2000: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted

Mac OS: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Crash Reports/submitted Linux: /home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/Crash Reports/submitted

Copy the most recent 5-7 File Names in the folder. Post the information in the reply box.
