Yahoo is blocking my TB login

When I fired up TB this morning, it was blocked from logging in to Yahoo Mail with the message "the current operation on inbox did not succeed. The mail server for account Yahoo Mail responded: [CLIENTBUG] SELECT Command is not valid in this state." Rebooting both TB and my laptop made no difference, the same message was displayed. I was able to login to Yahoo Mail via my browser. Can anyone suggest a solution? or is this one of those periodic surprises Yahoo likes to throw our way. Would switching to OATH2 make any difference?

Thanks for that. I tried googling to see if it was a known problem but couldn't find anything relevant. I don't use social media so I guess I am missing out on early notification of things. Thanks anyway.
