I asked this before and I got rid of the automatic preview window but with the latest update I got the function back and I have forgotten how to abolish this function.

I asked this before and I got rid of the automatic preview window but with the latest update I got the function back and I have forgotten how to abolish this function.

Chosen solution

It is the Message Pane and you turn in off and on in the View/Layout menu. F8 is the shortcut to toggle it on and off. Thunderbird has no preview window.
