I can download the stub installer but stub cannot get full install

more options

I am able to download the stub Firefox installer but when it runs, it never completes the full download to be able to install FF. I suspect it may have something to do with various anti-virus/malware & IPS services on the network firewall (Sonicwall). Win10 Enterprise, Server 2016, Server 2008

Does anyone have any thoughts or, can you point me to the full install download?

Thanks GK

You can find full installers here => https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Some protection programs don't like the update/install stubs. Go for the full installer.

Yes it may be as even though the stub install concept for Windows has existed since Firefox 18.0 (January 8, 2013) some scanner clients can still complicate things in various ways with the safe stub installer.

Once again it is not a updater or such but rather a online installer. It connects online and downloads Firefox to install. Since it does not matter if you had Firefox installed on Windows already or not it the stubs is not a update as you keep saying.

It was not until the new stub installer (since Fx 55.0) for Windows could install 32-bit or 64-bit if system supported it that it became useful in comparison to the full offline installer for Windows.
