Some websites don't work w/ new FF, Chrome always works. Windows 10/FF 57.0.4/64, and Flash is installed (see "educated guess"). For example: http://www.sonyclassics.com/ Hovering the cursor over an image causes descriptive text to appear, and click a "Coming Soon" or "Now Playing" film switches an image to that film. Chrome works, FF doesn't.

Just one example of many.

(Sorry for brevity, my previous message got trashed when I clicked the educated guess "show details".)

I checked out the link. It looks like a web page problem. When I check out the left side menu, these look okay; Movies; About Us, Our Library, Resources, Press Releases, Awards, Contact Us, CONTACT, PRIVACY POLICY, TERMS OF USE.

However, nothing in the main view does as it should.

Update: When I disabled my ad-blocker for the site, everything now works.

Load the web page. After the page is loaded, click the down arrow next to the AdBlock icon. Now select Disable on <website>. Reload the page.

Thanks Fred, very helpful!

I'm using AdBlock Plus, maybe that's why I don't see the icon and down arrow. But when I disable AdBlock Plus, then exit FF and restart that Sony page works fine. Just re-loading it doesn't for me.

So far I think I've known when things weren't working right. But it's kind of like the cartoon in the electronics magazine, ca. 1985: "My computer has never had an undetected error, to the best of my knowledge."

And the previous message that I lost was because in trying to setup another example, I cleared cookies. Don't do that!
