hmmm, if gmail can do it.... Basically an online version of my Firefox browser that I can just sign into, has all of my bookmarks, etc. (exactly like the way signing in to my gmail account works) For example, if I sign in to Gmail from a hotel computer, it has "bookmarks" (labels, contacts) and all I have to do for security is to make sure that I am signed out when I leave my session, no? Thanks in advance, but I must be missing something?
In the browser I would also delete history and cookies and clear the cache that you use at the hotel. Should clear Temp Files in the computer. if Windows Use : Disk Cleanup Tool Using a Portable browser is the best choice.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hi, you will need to sign into your Firefox account on that computer, as well as the computer you are syncing from in order to Sync data to the other machine.
Security issue: After you are done, you need to remove everything about you on that computer.

Firefox Sync is meant to copy local data between different installations of Firefox. That data will be written to disk. On a public PC, I think that would be a very bad idea, except maybe for bookmarks, those might not be too sensitive.
Thanks to all who responded. I think I am looking for something known as a "virtual browser".. Surprised that it's not a more common request from the masses.... Be well! Kevin

Thanks Mkll! So great to find someone who "gets" me!!
I have to think that product would be crazy profitable if it were marketed aggressively.... any ideas why it's not more in demand?
It's free - and open source :D!
