"To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier."
This notification constantly pops up while it tries to force the user to install software. I have pop-up block enabled, but it still comes up from time to time when I'm browsing certain sites.

Starting in Firefox 58 (which will be released on January 23rd), this dialog has been changed so that you can close the tab even while the dialog is open, which should prevent this site from doing this.
In the meantime, an ad-blocking extension will stop most of these sites (and a lot of other stuff). Some popular ones are: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/
You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

Try pressing the Esc key until you can close the tab with close X on tab or by middle-clicking it when you encounter this.
This may not actually be due to malware as I have gotten this by chance a couple times on Linux, however not a bad idea to scan with scanners every so often on Windows anyways.
