I have version 57.03 and want to re-obtain my yellow color for the bookmark folders: I have read several different forums offering how to do this, but am confused as to the best process...In anticipation, I have gone into my Profile folder and created a Chrome subfolder and userChrome.css file. I have also installed notepad++ to edit the file, if necessary.

userChrome. org shows 2 ways to get the yellow bookmarks back: The 1st is a SVG fill, where it looks like all I have to do is copy the code on their webpage and then paste the code to my css file, using notepad++. Is this correct? The second method is for the old style bookmarks and involves extracting a Fx56 bookmarks buttons. zip file into my Chrome folder. I am not sure how to find the Chrome folder to extract the file into it; and I'm not sure about the other instructions for this process...

Is there a better way? I just want to be sure I don't mess things up; If the method doesn't work can I undo the changes by deleting the file or Chrome folder?

Thanks for the help!

Thought I'd add to my last response: This is the site where I got the SVG code that I copied and pasted to my userChrome.css file that changed my Bookmark folders from gray back to yellow.:

https://www.userchrome.org/what-is-userchrome-css.html

.Just scroll down until you see the SVG fill code...

See:

Thanks for the info, but I can't open the 1st link and the 2nd link didn't answer my questions about the correct process to change the color....

I see that the question from the first link somehow got corrupted. A search brings it up, but the thread can't be accessed.

Thanks again -I had previously read the links you sent me.... I just figured it out! I went ahead and copied and pasted the SVG fill code into my userChrome.css file using notrpad++, rebooted the computer - and it worked! Folders are now yellow, etc...

Thanks again for your help!
