Each time I click on an email I get the spinning circle. I am using OS X El Capitan and the latest update for Thunderbird. Began sometime after the last update.

All my other applications are working fine. Tried in safe mode, doesn't help. I tried increasing and decreasing the cache, no difference.

I'm still having this problem. Looking at changing email software. Each email takes around 5 seconds or more to load when I click on them.
