Why doesn't the browser remember that I want it to remember passwords? I have to reset it EVERY morning!

I want Firefox to remember logins and passwords but it "forgets" this every time I close the browser. It's a huge pain. I've tried finding a good add-on that would work instead, but I can't find one.

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

If you have the "Trend Micro Password Manager" installed then try to uninstall this application via the Windows Control Panel.
