remove 'X' from non-active tabs so they're not removed inadvertently.
with more than one tab my eye catches the"white-on-black" before the inverse. so, if you MUST continue with this scheme at least remove the X from the non-active tabs so they cannot be dropped (until selected).

Hi,
There's a hidden setting in Firefox to disable the X button on non-active tabs. To use it:
- Type "about:config" in the address bar.
- Click the "I accept the risk" button.
- Type "browser.tabs.tabClipWidth" in the search box.
- Double-click on the first item that appears in the list, and enter a large number like "9999" in the dialog box.
- Click "OK".
- Restart Firefox.
Also, there's an optional light theme available if you don't like the new color scheme. To turn it on, click the hamburger menu (the button with three horizontal bars in the upper-right) and choose "customize". In the bottom-left corner, you'll see a "themes" menu that lets you choose between "default", "light", and "dark" themes.

Fabulous!
The Close [X] still shows on the live tab.
