I would like to never see Wikipedia anywhere ever, or at least block it as much as I can.

I have a script that might help you if you would consider an add-on solution:

Try this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/block-site-2/

You can remove it from the list of search engines by heading to about:preferences#search and using the drop down menu to remove it.

I had already removed it from my search engines, but I really wish if I did a search on Bing that it would filter and not even show any wiki links. That is probably something the search engine would have to do, not Firefox, right?

Right  ! But search engines won't block sites untill they are told to, and that's what the add-on, that Wkll gave you the link to, will do.

Or : you might give the script, that jscher2000 just posted a link to, a try ......

I installed the add on wkll gave me, I told it to block wiki.org or whatever it is, but a new search still gives wiki hits. I went back to hit blocker and see wiki is the only domain in the list to block, it's there, but I still get wiki hits.

Hmm, it says "google", will it work for Bing?

Yes, cause it also says :

" It also works on DuckDuckGo, Startpage.com, Bing and Yahoo, and is free. "

Yes it works, it works!!!!!!!! Does it somehow block all the tracking evil google does too? (I'm thinking that's called analytics?)

You folks are fricken great!

Hi Tom, my script checks the results in the page and hides the sites you don't want to see in your results list. It doesn't affect tracking.

Tom, you inadvertently marked my post as Chosen Solution - you can rectify that by clicking the 'Undo' button to the right of that post and then mark jscher2000's post as such ......
