First you will excuse my English Language witch can be poor for instants... Sorry, but I'am French. Thanks I use Firefox from numerous years on Mac OSX. In this version (57 Quantum) I didn't find the "sessionrestore" in the Menu (3 bars lying) as in the windows Menu. Why will you ask me: Why ? Because yesterday I crash my opérating system. You will know that in the preferences of Firefox, I alway use "View the latest tabs and windows used". After the crash, when I restart Firefox, it was just one window that open on my desktop. I immediately try to find the "sessionrestore" but I never find it nowhere. Can you help me if you know how force the restoration of the session. Thanks for your answer. Best regards Pierre

You can look in the History menu on the main menu bar. There you should find "History -> Recently Closed Tabs/Windows" and "History -> Restore Previous Session" if that is what you mean.

We would not know anything about your profile or you browsing habits or the use of session restore.

After opening the 3 Bar Menu it should be the 4th one down the list, Restore Previous Session.

In the Firefox Menu , mouse to top , Right Click open spot Click Menu is the 3rd one down under History.

Not going to like this but : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Or Mac equivalent. Do not delete Folder with Profile, Then restart system. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles
