Why i can use wget to continue failed downloads, but FIREFOX which is supposed to be better can't do that?

I use slow connection and sometimes it drops me. Anyway when i am using Firefox i can't continue a download from where i left it, but with wget i can do it. So will you please do something about your shitty download manager?
