Hi,

today I received an upgrade to version 57. After sign in (which was little weird, I had never had to do that after an upgrade) everything worked well - until I closed the firefox window. When I wanted to open it again, error "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." has appeared. So I tried the obvious solution - deleted "profiles.ini" file. Which worked, but only for the first startup. If I close the window and try to start firefox, error appears again.

Unsuccessful solutions (tried each maybe 5 times):

  • delete "profiles.ini" file / all mozilla files in %appdata% folder
  • reinstall firefox
  • restart windows
  • delele mozilla files from registry

My antivirus is Avast (only info, since i read on forum, that Kaspersky could cause this type of error)

Zkus si udělat nový profil Firefoxu https://support.mozilla.org/cs/kb/sprava-profilu Rozhodně se zbav toho Avastu (kompletně ho vypni, radši odinstaluj).

Vytvoření nového profilu: firefox se nespustí ani napoprvé Dočasné vypnutí Avastu: nepomohlo Odinstalování Avastu: nepomohlo

Jak to myslíš s tím napoprvé? Vypni Firefox (nesmí být ani v spuštěných procesech). Pak Start - Spustit - zadat tam: firefox -p a odentrovat.
