How do you make the new thin jagged fonts readable?

I'm using this new Quantum on a desktop with 1920x1080 monitors set for 100% scaling in Win10.

The new font ... no matter which one I try ... are very thin and jagged, VERY difficult to read. If I cannot get a very quick fix, I will NOT be using Firefox anymore.

In every other program, fonts are still as always, and look beautiful on the screen. No, firefox isn't zoomed, it's at 100%. In the last version, as all previous ones, it was great. So how do I get smooth, decent-thickness fonts in Firefox now?

Oh ... and making the tabs and the menu the same color, going to the hard square tabs with black 'hats', who the blazes thought that made any sense whatever?

Chosen solution

There was a response I saw in another thread here ... you go to Control panel, search for fonts, go to the main Fonts folder icon.

On the left, click on the 'Clear Type' item, which leads you through a process where you can select better system fonts ... which fixed the issue.

This is a bizarre design. Any font, any size ... no matter how it's zoomed or left at 100%, is jagged like looking at something out of about 1992 on a computer ... on a nice mono/orange screen!

(except for the color of course ... )
