Why does going to nb.fidelity.com not work today but it did yesterday? I used Firefox 57 both days.
Every other bookmark seems to work correctly. I called a person at fidelity.com and they had me try several things but nothing worked. All I see is a dot going right and left and the tab name has not even been filled out yet. (It says either New Tab or whatever was there before.) I have tried disabling all add-ons and then restarting Firefox but that did not help. Your suggestions are appreciated.

The server looks to be down.
This has nothing to do with the browser.
However, FYI, you can check if a website is actually down or whether it's a problem due to your computer by visiting this website.
If you ping the site, it results to be down. If they have a phone number and you need to reach that website, try giving them a call.
(NOTATION: in the second screenshot, NXDOMAIN means not existing domain). I tried it with other browsers, too, and the result is the same, so the problem is on their end.

It is working today. Thank you alan_r and mattcamp for your help. What I do not understand is that when I called a person at fidelity.com they told me that it was my problem. Also, I did not see any error messages - just the dot (like a period but twice its size and higher on the line) moving right and left on the line.
MM I'm not judgmental but I don't know if I'd trust a company acting that way.
