Great need for parallel use of a mail client and calendar both on Windows and Android (really seamless synchronization). Most of all, by avoiding any "Google" or "Microsoft" so called "services". Just by staying in thunderbird and lightning!

There is no Android version and no known plans for it.
Thnx for brief respons. But I was hoping to be heard by any mozilla stuff to let them know what are the needs of the useres. Any idea of getting close to them? Sure millions, who dislike being "served" by Google , Microsoft or Apple are waiting for a mail client which synchs also contacts and calenders both at home and mobile device. Anyhow it is to be tinkered, but inconvenient and unreliable. Regards Walter
Mozilla no longer develops Thunderbird. It is done by a volunteer group.
