Hi  !

In addition to the above (just to make sure) :

In Options/Preferences => Privacy & Security

Under 'Forms & Passwords' :

Is 'Remember logins and passwords for websites' checked  ?

Delete the cookies to that account restart Firefox and then when go there you should get the ask to save password pop-out.

Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I set Firefox to delete cookies when I close it, it never saves my privacy settings.

Then you will always have to sign in.

A detail like a website remembering you (log you in automatically) is stored in a cookie.

You can use these steps to make a website recognize and remember you:

  • you can create an "Allow" exception to keep specific cookies, especially in case of secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Cached Web Content: "Clear Now": Exceptions

Let the cookies expire when Firefox is closed to make them session cookies instead of using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the cookies.

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: Keep until: "I close Firefox"
