update installed in different directory
Windows 10, 64-bit.
Since Oct 27's (automatic) update, I have Firefox 56.0 in Program Files and Firefox 56.02 in Program Files (x86)*. The two versions keep competing to "be my default browser". Should I uninstall one? Both?
- weird, because it says it is the 64-bit version
Chosen solution
I would uninstall both. Delete anything to do with 56.0 Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla before posting a question. This helps us help you.
Reinstall using the Full Version Installer for 56.0.2 https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
Prob just a glitch in the updating. Yes there should be files in both MS Directories.
Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.
