I cannot retrieve my emails in Thunderbird for one of my yahoo accounts. The account is installed but the messages will not load. Can someone tell me what the problem might be? I installed the email in Thunderbird using the automatic setup. IMAP.

I received this error message: The current operation on "inbox" did not succeed. The mail server for account karen.camilovic@yahoo.com responded: [CLIENTBUG] STATUS Command is not valid in this state.

Anyone know what this means and how to correct the problem?

Try this: Right click on mail account in Folder pane and select 'Settings' select 'server settings' for the mail account top right you should see 'User Name'. usually this is the full email address, but in some cases it is only the part before the @. Remove the @Yahoo.com bit. click on OK.

Close Thunderbird and wait a few moments for background processes to complete. Start Thunderbird Report back on results.
