Firefox Sync keeps disconnecting after computer shut down

RJKY

I've just installed Firefox Quantum (beta version) on 3 laptops. I use Firefox Sync on all 3 laptops, and they are logged in all the time. However, each time I finish a session and shuts off a laptop, I notice that, when I turn on the laptop later, Firefox Sync has disconnected automatically when I open Firefox. I then have to reconnect each time I turn on the laptop, which is inconvenient. Would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Firefox would normally store the Sync credentials in the Firefox Password Manager.

The chrome://FirefoxAccounts entry in the password manager stores the authentication data (kA and kB) in JSON format. The signedInUser.json file in the profile folder stores the sessionToken that is used once you have logged on successfully.

Are you using a master password on all connected devices?

Thanks for your reply, cor-el. I do not use a master password.
