TB will not accept my TWC password.

Until yesterday, I have had no problem using my twc/spectrum account in Thunderbird. Yesterday, TB asked told me my password was incorrect. I checked the password on the TWC server; it's correct. I closed and reopened TB and rebooted the computer. It worked for the rest of the day. This morning, same problem, and now no fix. I tried all the suggestions on the support pages, deleted the stored passwords...still getting the same error message. I have upgraded (today) to the most current Thunderbird and checked all my settings...no help. I'll have to stop using Thunderbird and/or this email address unless the problem can be solved.

Have you asked TWC? Presumably they did do something on their servers.
