After changing my yahoo email password, Mozilla does not function with message [CLIENTBUG]SELECT command is not valid in this state. Why?

After changing my Yahoo.co.uk account password for email, I opened my Mozilla system and in response to an immediate message box, I entered the new password. In response, Mozilla opened a message box with: The current operation on inbox did not succeed. The mail server for account (my email address) responded [CLIENTBUG]SELECT command is not valid in this state. what can I do get my mail with this new Yahoo password.
