Do you want to try this? I saw it on Reddit and since you are disabling a security-related protection, please use with care: (1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful. (2) In the search box above the list, type or paste plug*ht and pause while the list is filtered (3) Double-click the plugins.http_https_only preference to switch the value from true to false"
and it works

You should click the arrow where it says "Connection is not secure" and enable those scripts, so they can load.
Be advised they could be malicious, though.

just so you can see all is up to date.....

sorry I forgot to say/post this comes up as well and its not malicious
No, it's not.
It's a page allowing you to check if your plugins are up-to-date.
Try this solution.
The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.
Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.
To Refresh Firefox:
- Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
- Click the menu button , click help and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
- If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
- At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
- Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
- Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.
Did this fix the problem? Please report back to us!
Thank you.

no it has not fixed my problem
Can you access the page with another browser?
no but my ortha fire fox files still work its just the SWF files and there the ones I use a lot
Check this thread: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=383301
don't help don't understand it never had this trouble a cople of weeks ago.....
Then you should wonder what you installed recently that might have caused the problem.
At the most use System Restore to revert the system to how it was before the problem started happening.
I think it was when I updated fire fox a cople of days ago
If you can't solve the problem by going back, you could download the videos and play them by using VLC.
there not videos there......interactive games look why has it become inpossable to open downloaded SWF files now?
Modified
I don't know how to fix your issue with Firefox's Flash capabilities, but until you find a fix, you may find the Adobe Flash Player Projector (Standalone) useful.
I've used it before to play Flash games and in my experience it tends to be better than Firefox. Just ensure you download the projector and not a debugger.
