How do I export contacts from Thunderbird to Gmail?
When I click on a particular address book to export, there is no option for "export".

Chosen solution
Open the Address Book window. From the Menu Bar select Tools-Export
If your Menu Bar is hidden press the alt key to make it appear.
If you want the menu Bar to show all the time, a good idea, select View-Toolbars and turn it on.

Actually there is an Exprt option in the Address Book window, but you might need to press Alt or F10 to display the Menu bar. You can also leave it enabled by choosing View > Toolbars.
