Yahoo IMAP mail no longer working

Appears to have stopped working last night.

I get the following: "Login to server imap.mail.yahoo.com failed."

I use two-step auth and I went ahead and generated a new App password but get the same error.

I verified my server settings have not changed:

Server - imap.mail.yahoo.com Port - 993 Requires SSL - Yes

I use K-9 Mail on my phone using imap and have no issues. Firefox login works fine too.

It looks like when I send mail from Thunderbird Yahoo account it does send successfully via smtp.mail.yahoo.com

I'm stumped!

I appear to be having the issue again starting today. On a newer TB version 52.2.1 this time. I believe the update to TB was a week or so ago and it had been working. I have confirmed my server settings have not changed.

I'm not getting the login failed message though, or any message for that matter.

It tries to fetch Yahoo mail via IMAP and returns nothing. I can successfully send mail to my other email accounts though and verify their receipt.

I've logged into Yahoo Mail via Firefox and see that there are messages to retrieve.

My K-9 mail client on my phone which also uses app password is fetching Yahoo mail just fine.

Anyone else having this issue again?
