
My T-bird account xxxxxxxxx.consulting@gmail.com on my laptop is locked until I "ALLOW" Mozilla to "Read, send, delete and manage my email..". Why?
It locked up this morning and I am concerned that Mozilla will delete emails and files that are important. Is there a phone number or live chat available to find out what is going on and how to resolve it?

If your Gmail account is an IMAP account, and if 'OAuth2' is set as 'Authentication type' in your account settings, this is the way it works.

There is are no Thunderbird accounts. Email accounts come from email providers. Thunderbird is software on your computer and Mozilla has no control over it. Who did the message come from? Looks like gmail from the address you posted. Ask them.
No there is no phone number. You use free software , do not expect a staffed help desk.
