Thunderbird is not being able to read my password. I checked it and it is correct. Why won't Thunderbird let my emails come in? How do I change my password?

I keep getting an error that Thunderbird can't log in to my email. I went into the settings to check my password. It is the correct one. I even tried to change it but it wouldn't let me change it. My emails come to my phone but not my computer. I need them to come to my computer in case I want to print any of them. Please help!

Is this by any chance for an iCloud account? Apple has changed it policy and now requires two-step authentication and app specific passwords. If so, go into iCloud and generate an app specific password for Thunderbird. You also have to remove all stored passwords from Thunderbird for this account. You can do so under Tools > Options > Security > Passwords > Saved Passwords… and remove any @icloud.com or @me.com passwords you have stored.
