This is simply ridiculous! I just updated to FF54 and Opera's icon on my desktop became blank. After FF update the desktop refreshed and the problem occurred. Cannot be fixed with setting the icon again and even with PC restart.

I know about the thing called browsers wars. But this now is just a bit out of any reason.

I want my Opera icon back!

PS. Needed to delete it and to make a new shortcut to desktop from Opera's Program Files folder. Still I think my question is important because it is not right update of a browser to have impact on other browser's icon.

Chosen solution

Throw icon in Trash Go to Start Menu and find Opera Icon and Right Click and Create a Short-cut then cut and past to the Desk Top.

Alternatively find Opera.exe in it's folder (where ever it installs to) Right Click and Create a Short Cut then cut and paste to the Desk Top

Yes, I did it and make a new shortcut from launcher.exe and then renamed it as the original shortcut. Yet I think it is important why this happened. Hope it was something local at me but I doubt as I use and update browsers from long time.

Don't get me wrong, FF is my fav browser and it is almost impossible I to change my opinion on that. But I don't like it's updates much as strange stuff happens sometimes.
