Why google finance stockscreener is not updating in firefox but has no problem in google chrome?
When I use firefox and goes to https://www.google.com/finance?hl=en&ei=h6pUWdC1HZO-uwTbnov4Bg#stockscreener the website is not getting updated or showing anything at all. How we can fix this?

Sorry to hear about the ransomware problem!
Which part of https://www.google.com/finance#stockscreener isn't working for you? For example, when I change the country or exchange, after about a second various values and the little diagrams change shape. Of course, I have no idea if they are correct. Ha!

Are you sure it’s working properly in Chrome? According to this thread and some others, it’s been broken for months and for several browsers.
Damn! After a 'WannaCry' attack I formatted my entire hard-disk and installed Firefox as my default browser. After a vacation, last day I tried to sort the stocks and I found this problem. Now I realize, the truth is, I'm so f**king late to the party. Face-palm! Thanks for the reply mate.

Okay, I see now, if I select Nasdaq and Technology sector, no companies are found. I'm pretty sure there are some tech companies in the Nasdaq.
Thanks for all your support. Now its working. I believe it must be a bug or something in Firefox (updated Firefox to 54.0.1 64-bit today). I unchecked the automatic updates and was using a 7 months older version I believe. Thanks for all your answers.
