Why does thunderbird keep asking for my password on my laptop and not on my desktop.

Every time i ask mozila to "get messages" or to "send" a message it asks for my password when using my laptop but this doesn't happen when using my desktop, as far as I can see the settings are the same on both machines, am I missing something ? If anybody can help I would appreciate it.

When you get the prompt to enter password, please make sure you also select the checkbox for password manager to remember the password before clicking on OK.

If you already do the above, then are you using anything like CCleaner to clean up files, if yes, then it is likely that program is deleting the stored passwords.
