change of email password from provider

I changed my password with my provider. I tried to chang the account settings in Thunderbird bu there is nowhere to put the password. Where does the password go? Or do I have to delete the account in Thunderbird and start over?

Options-Security-Passwords-Saved Passwords Click Show Passwords. Right click the password and select Edit. Each account will have two passwords listed. One for receiving and one for sending. Update them both.
