I installed a program that prevents internet tracking called searchlock onto my browser. I don't like the job it's doing and the changes it made. how do I uninstall it from Firefox?

Was it installed as a separate program, or as a Firefox add-on?

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Look for, and disable/remove the add-on.

Also look in the computer’s Programs Folder.

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the Applications folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
