I recently received notification that there was an update to thunderbird so i clicked on update. After updating, II could no longer access the program. I get an error message: thunderbird.exe is not a valid Win32 application. Any suggestions to correct this?

Try to download the full installer and run it. https://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/
