unable to save sent and draft emails to folders via IMAP just hangs
Hi Folks
Done a lot of looking and couldn't find an answer to this one.
I'm running windows 10 and have just installed a fresh install of TBird using IMAP. All works fine on the 8 accounts I have apart from being able to save the sent emails in the sent email folder. After sending an email TBrid tells me it's copying the email to the folder but just hangs. If I quite from that and try to save as a draft the same thing happens it just hangs. All the folders seem to be Subscribed to and they're showing up locally and I can see all the old saved sent mails in them. I've reduced the maximum number of server connections to cache from 5 to 1 (I saw that could be a problem) but nothing is helping. Just to add to the woes my print screen isn't working either.
Any help gratefully excepted.

Can you check to see if you have the following selection in each Imap mail account.
Right click on imap mail account in Folder Pane and select 'Settings' select 'Copies & Folders'
select: 'Place a copy in' select 'Other' and choose the imap Sent folder.
repeat for all other imap mail accounts. click on 'OK'

1. Does this happen with all 8 e-mails accounts?
2. Are all 8 e-mail accounts with the same e-mail provider?
Hi Bruce. It's happening on the 7 Imap accounts. All 7 of these are on the same cloud server but spread over 3 different domains but it's not happening on 1 Pop account, that is with someone completely different, that 1 seems so be fine.
