I just downloaded the new "privacy" downloads from Firefox. I get this message when I try to open my AOl or YAHOO accounts: Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct." I can't find the "proxy settings".

Please can you supply a bit more information about the "privacy" downloads you mention?

This will help us find a solution for you.

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select Network. Look for Configure How Firefox Connects and press the Settings button. If you are using a proxy, make sure those settings are correct. If there is no proxy, first use No Proxy. If there is a problem, then try System Proxy.
